Appealing in conjunction with the Twins' annual TwinsFest, the meeting featured a free-agent pitcher, Nolasco, and returning second baseman, Dozier. Nolasco had trouble adjusting to American League batters and finished the season with a 6-12 record. Dozier, on the other hand, led the team with 23 home runs and became one of the best second baseman in major league baseball.
