Annual Meeting 2016 | December 13, 2016 | Derek Falvey
Doubleheader: Derek Falvey / Thad Levine and the Dave and Sid Show

With the Twins operating under new management in the baseball operations, Falvey, the head of baseball operations, and Levine, the general manager, talked about their backgrounds and philosophies. The second half of the meeting saw Sid Hartman and Dave Mona interview a number of prominent local sports personalities.

Game 878 | April 20,2017 | Paul Molitor, Derek Falvey
Molitor was entering the final year of his three-year contract and his first under new Chief Baseball Officer Falvey. The Twins were coming off a 103-loss season and were picked by baseball writers to finish last in the American League. Instead, the team made the American League playoffs, losing in the Wild Card game to the New York Yankees. The Twins became the first team ever to improve from more than 100 losses to a playoff spot. Molitor was named American League Manager of the Year, joining Frank Robinson as the only members of the Baseball Hall of Fame to ever win Manager of the Year honors.

Molitor, the Hall of Fame infielder from Saint Paul, was coming off a season in which he had been named American League Manager of the Year. Top prospects Byron Buxton and Miguel Sano were injured and spent most of the season in the minor leagues. The team finished with a 78-84 record, 13 games behind division-leading Cleveland. Molitor was fired at the end of the season.

Game 913 | May 14, 2019 | Derek Falvey, Thad Levine, Cory Provus
The Twins baseball leaders agreed that the long-term plan for winning teams had to come from building a strong minor league feeder system rather than free agency. Falvey said the Twins' farm system was currently ranked 5th or 6th among all teams. Levine said the team had offered long-term deals to a number of young players and that they were thrilled that Jorge Polanco and Max Kepler had accepted. Falvey said that some form of a salary cap might be part of the next round of negotiations on a Collective Bargaining Agreement with players. Cory Provus, the radio voice of the Twins, moderated the discussion.

Game 930 | July 14, 2020 | Derek Falvey, Thad Levine, Wes Johnson, Mike Bell, Cory Provus
Cory Provus once again moderated a Minnesota Twins program in which General Manager Thad Levine introduced two members of Rocco Baldelli's coaching staff. Pitching Coach Wes Johnson the year before was hired from the Arkansas Razorbacks. He talked about the unusual move from college baseball to professional ranks. Mike Bell, a member of a deep professional baseball family, joined the team in 2019 as bench coach. He was diagnosed with kidney cancer in January 2021 and will miss the early part of the Twins' season.

A realignment of minor league baseball resulted in the Twins and the St. Paul Saints reaching an agreement for the Saints to become the Twins Triple AAA affiliate in ballparks separated by only 10 miles. Executives from both teams discussed the agreement and the marketing opportunities the teams plan to explore. Dave St. Peter set up this special meeting after the Twins' and Saints' partnership was announced to have St. Paul and CHS Field serve as its AAA farm club.

The Twins top baseball executives said they were concerned about the team’s slow start but quoted Billy Beane as saying, “In April and May you evaluate your team. In June and July you make adjustments and in August and September you find out how you did.” In their fourth year as leaders, their team finished last in the A.L. Central with a 73-89 record.
