Twin Cities Dunkers Fund Dinner April 23 at Interlachen Country Club

Working in conjunction with The Minneapolis Foundation, the Dunker Fund has been able to direct $591,907 to the schools. The money has been used to purchase equipment and uniforms, to improve athletic facilities and enable road trips.

In recent weeks Dunkers Joel Bergstrom and Dave Stead along with Deb Bradley met with athletic directors at the schools to provide them guidance and assistance in applying for Dunker grants. The athletic directors were encouraged to submit up to 10 grant requests totaling $10,000 and to itemize their requests. The athletic directors identified $278,642 worth of needs not funded by their school district.

The Dunkers Fund Committee will be awarding approximately $4,000 to each school. Many of the remaining needs have been funded through generous donations by Dunkers members in past years. That generosity is requested again this year. Donations are tax deductible. More info...
